About Nottingham Farm
This is our 2nd year as a market garden. We are excited to bring the Wiregrass area an alternative to the big ag driven supermarkets. We believe relational agriculture is the wave of the future. "By joining our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, you acknowledge and accept that farming inherently involves risks, including but not limited to adverse weather, pests, crop failure, and other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. As a participant, you are agreeing to share these risks with us. Consequently, if we are unable to deliver some or all of the season’s produce, you understand and agree that your upfront payment is non-refundable. You voluntarily waive any right to claim refunds or compensation in the event that the CSA is unable to fulfill any portion of the season’s deliveries."
Fair prices for farmers and artisan food producers is vital
We pay our suppliers at least 50% of the retail value for any products we buy in, and when dealing with wholesalers, we check to make sure they pay fair prices to their growers.
The benefits of buying local
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets. It also requires less transportation, so it's fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
We have been getting boxes delivered for a couple of years now. We always get fast and friendly communication, the produce and products are fantastic. I love supporting local producers and farmers, it creates happiness!
